CTCs of documents, are used in a variety of applications and occasions as a proof of your identity, educations, etc. You might need to send them to the government, different public and private institutions.
Certified True Copies can be provided after comparison of the original document with the copy. An usual jurat on certified true copies would be: “ This is a true and exact copy of the original as seen on a specific date” . Your notary public would also add their signature and seal.
For hard copy originals, your notary public needs to have them in front of her/him to certify the copies.
Authorized family members and representatives might be able to appear with your original documents and get the copies certified for you. Notary Public will contact you for your permission.
For originally electronic documents and certificates, the prints can be compared to the electronic original. This can be done by case-based instructions provided by the notary public in terms of how the online origin of the document can be assessed.
For the electronic originals, in some cases online appointments might be an option too. Need Certified True Copies of your documents?
